Although it's possible to end unwanted processes via task manager
in windows, but sometimes this work is tedious when there are a few number of
processes with the same name which are resident in memory. Unix users can use kill and killall commands to end a group of processes, to do this job in Microsoft

path) in command prompt. For example to kill all
the "notepad.exe" processes in memory run the following command:
C:\>TASKKILL /IM notepad.exe
